Beware the Wrath of Chickens

A strange Phenomena is leading College age Girls to the Hospital

Curses appear to be linked to curses while, it is currently unsubstantiated that the chicken itself is capable of cursing people and humanoids, their body parts are used in ancient athens for cursing enemies. This is according to smithsonian's Isis-Davis Marks.

While there are no current journals or studies that substantiate the claim that chickens can cast curses, the personal experience of 2 college students, shows that the proximity of chickens and the event of fainting have a correleation. This page will introduce you to the chicken and summarize the events that took place. Please take caution if you intend on replicating these events. and know that there are consequences for doing so.

The chicken, a land dwelling animal of the bird subtype, is most known for its use in livestock and animal husbandry. In some cultures, however, they are used in rituals. Chickens have great significance in the Hmong rite of death, whereby a chicken is used to guide the spirt to the afterlife. In other south-east asian countries, in this case the Philippines, chickens are used in shamanism and rituals. Like most animals chickens are protective of their young. To disturb the young is to incur the wrath of the mother hen. This noticable aggression in chickens is not only present in the chicken's fairer sex. In Hawaii, chickens, namely roosters, are used in illegal cock fights. To protect the privacy of the victims, no location and identifying qualities will be recorded here.

With the intention of completing an assignment a college student spent 2 hours attempting to catch a chicken around campus. Upon failure to obtain an adult chicken, the student made a grave mistake and decided to target a hen and her young. Upon casting the net, the hen met the student with a high amount of agression. Protective of its young, the chicken spread open its wings in defense and became irate. The student, nevertheless, persisted. Upon the capture of one of the chicks, out of fear of the mother hen, and guilt for separating a child from its mother, the student immediately released the chicken.

In the morning the student drank 4 oz of water with her morning medications, and went to use the bathroom. After using the facilities, she went to go wash her hands. The cold water hit her hands. Her vision went blurry. It was difficult to stand and felt worse as she walked to her bed. Nauseous and uneasy, she heard a ringing in her ears, then her hearing dulled. It felt like two hands were cupping her ears but from the inside of her head. She made her way to her desk and dialled 911. When the EMTs arrived, her blood pressure was low and she was treated for dehydration.

Our second student, invoked the wrath of the chicken without provoking the mother. Perhaps proximity to the roommate was enough for the curse to reach our next roommate. In the kitchen chopping onions, the previous victim's roomate, prepared a meal for friends. A wrong move and the knife sliced open her finger. Woozy at the sight of blood, her roommates placed a chair behind her and instructed her to sit down. One roomate dressed the wound and took her to receive hospital care. The previous victim, roommate of the current victim saw a brown figure followed by 7 little ones of yellow and grey shadows. The hen and its mother nonchalantly walked past the screen door of the dorm room. The medical personnel removed part of her fingernail and glued the wound shut.

While there may not be a correlation to the events and proximity to chickens, it is better to be cautious. Here is a list of things to avoid so that you may be able to avoid misfortune.
